Earthdance is an arts-based retreat center, situated on picturesque land in the Hilltowns of Western Massachusetts. Every year, many come to enjoy our space during workshops, retreats, and rentals, and we also love to open our space for significant personal rituals and events, such as weddings and other commitment ceremonies. We would be thrilled to provide our magical location for your special day! We are not your average wedding venue and the care and attention we provide will reflect this, allowing for a more personalized and intimate experience.
Earthdance provides an opportunity for you to spend time with your family and friends for an extended multi-day experience, including:
- enjoying our wood-fired sauna and swimming quarry
- walking on our 100 acres of forest trails, neighboured by 2,000 acres of conservation land
- boogieing on our two sprung-wood dance floors
- relaxing, communing and sleeping overnight in our three-story guest Gratitude Lodge
- singing and gathering around a nighttime bonfire in our orchard
- ordering massages from our onsite professional body-workers
- and much more!
Throughout your stay you will have full use of all our communal areas and facilities. We can offer you and your family and friends a fully catered experience on site. There is also a more economical option whereby you cater for yourselves, or we can mix it up! For example, Earthdance can provide catering for selected meals, or support only certain services such as food ordering, menu creation, food prep, or cleaning shifts.
Weddings at Earthdance are available throughout the year, with weekday options available at a discounted rate. We are able to sleep up to 70 people in our Gratitude Lodge and can easily accommodate that same number camping on our land. Additional accommodations for up to 35 people can also be booked through Nine Mountain, a sister retreat center that neighbors our land.

Meal Planning Process
You may combine a mix of your own cooking, our professional chef’s menu, or outside catering and food trucks – we will work with you to find the most suitable options. Meal planning with our chef can provide you with an overview of what types of foods we carry, as well as ideas for dishes. Requests may be made for us to carry certain ingredients.
