Rochelle Jamila Wilbun Rochelle Jamila Wilbun is a Black woman born and raised in Memphis, TN on the ancestral lands of the Chickasaw nation. She wears many skins as a daughter, sister, dancer/ choreographer, womb health guide, gardener and folk herbalist. Rochelle radically imagines liberation through dance, prayer, breath, and supporting women and mothers. She enjoys cooking nourishing meals, writing poetry, singing, and long walks in the woods. A little note: While at Earthdance I am excited to experience the ecology of the Berkshires and its communities, human and non-human. I would love to know about any live music happenings for the duration of my residency (Aug. 9-15) and favorite scenic nature spots. Also, best trails for seeing wildflowers and birds :)
