The Julius Ford/Harriet Tubman Healthy Living Community (JF/HTHLC) is a year-round initiative that creates opportunities for critical thinking, healthy living and co-creating community among inter-generational educators, activists, artists, community builders and under-served youth.
Every summer, Earthdance hosts the JF/HT Healthy Living Conference, a week-long, intensive gathering of 50-70 young people, educators, organizers, and facilitators to engage in key aspects of healthy living, critical thinking and communication skills, integrative arts and performance, nutrition, contemplative practices and co-creating community technologies.
Only with your help can JF/HTHLC provide this annual summer conference to young people for free!
Thank you to the many sponsors who make JF/HTHLC possible, with a special thanks to the Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts, Markham Nathan Fund and Arts Angels. Also thank you to our past donors, including the Solidago Foundation, Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts, and Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation.
JF/HTHLC has long-served as a partner to Earthdance, vibrantly advancing both the Earthdance and JF/HTHLC missions. This synergetic exchange has created sustainable community in more ways than one.
