Self-Image in Action: A Feldenkrais® Workshop

with Fritha Pengelly and Sarah Young

June 10, 2017 -
10:00am to 5:30pm

Moshe Feldenkrais said: “We act in accordance with our self-image.”

In this workshop, we will explore the ways in which our sense of ourselves is created through action – sensing, feeling, thinking, moving – and in turn determines how we act in the world. Through exploring a variety of gentle Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement® lessons, students will have the opportunity to discover what is unclear, difficult, unavailable, familiar, or easy as a way to clarify one’s self-image towards expanding one’s sense of self and potential.

The Feldenkrais Method® is gentle. No prior experience necessary, and a wide range of ability is welcome.
