Jori Snell

Jori Snell is a freelance physical performing-artist and dancer (Holland/Denmark), educated at The Institute of Scenic Arts in Italy and Nordic Theatre School in Denmark. Since 1998 she founded her own theatre: Baba Yaga Theatre, and works as a freelance performer and educator in Europe and is now based in South Africa, where she performs, directs and runs regular classes in Contact Improvisation. She has worked as a dancer/performer for Corona la Balance (Denmark), Panth√©√Ętre, Roy Hart Theatre (France), Odin Teatret (Denmark) and FTH:K (South Africa). Her greatest inspiration in CI and Improvisation has come from her intensive work with Kirstie Simson (UK/USA), Bo Madvig (DK), Riccardo Morrison (USA), Katie Duck (USA), and Lucia Walker (UK).
