About the Musician

Jed Blume is a new age and world music composer based in Brattleboro, Vermont. His primary projects consist of Aura Shards (World Fusion Acoustic Duo), Deep Seize (Electronic Fusion Duo), Incus (new medicine music ensemble), Konvergenz (live improvised ecstatic dance ensemble), and his solo handpan performances. Jed has studied Indian Classic music in India, as well as West African rhythms in Mali. Jed performs on tabla and handpan throughout New England and the mid-Atlantic, often accompanied by a flow movement artist. His self-produced solo handpan album "Stellar Soundscapes" was released in July 2016.
