A class with Leslie Cerier
In this 2 1/2 hour hands-on vegetarian cooking class, gourmet organic chef/teacher and cookbook author Leslie Cerier, presents whole foods that are not just good for you, but also pleasurable and delicious. Come cook and feast on exciting vegetarian dishes that will enhance your immune system, give you energy, rejuvenate your senses, keep your bones strong, and help you maintain an active lifestyle.
During the workshop, you will learn to:
- Mix and match the local, seasonal, organic harvest: vegetables, grass raised organic local cheeses, dairy and eggs with a variety of other organic staples: beans, whole grains, gluten-free flours, herbs and spices, healthy fats (ghee, extra virgin olive oil and extra virgin coconut oil) and more.
- Create a menu by color, flavor, seasonal availability, texture, cooking times, and whim
- Follow Leslie's recipes or use them as a springboard for your own imagination
- In a delicious state of mind, we will engage our senses, embody presence, listen to our intuition and each other, as we cook from our hearts.
Leslie Cerier will show novice and seasoned cooks how to make cooking and eating deeply nourishing as we cook up our dinner with grace and ease.
