We invite you to join a Fall Community Dance Gathering. The weekend will be a time to practice contact improvisation, to dance, to connect, to share meals. (Advance registration is needed)
Registration for this event is CLOSED: To learn more, please email Contact@Earthdance.net
*Please note that there is a limited number of spaces available to participate in this event and advance registration is required. We are unable to admit anyone who has not registered online in advance, submitted their proof of vaccination, and proof of Covid negative test results. Thank you!
We're excited to offer a Fall Community Dance Weekend at Earthdance! Our normal programming would be to host the annual Fall Jam, however, due to many factors, we are not in a position to do so at this time. Earthdance is excited to invite the community to be together... to practice contact improvisation, to dance, to connect, to share meals. This event will be community facilitated and will not have all the usual support systems set up during the event. There will be point people and an organizing team onsite to help hold the space.
Subject to change: The weekend will be open only to fully vaccinated adults as well as unvaccinated children under the age of 12. All participants will need to provide a Covid PCR negative test in advance, and participants may also need to take a Covid test on site. Once on site, within this container, mask use will not be required, but can be discussed amongst the participants. The weekend will be limited to a maximum of 45 participants, which includes a maximum of 5 to 6 children 12 or under. For this container, there will not be any commuter possibility and participants need to arrive in time for the Opening Circle at 730pm on Thursday evening.
We recognize that making any choices about requirements for attendance and parameters limits who can attend and who feels comfortable with these arrangements. For us this is not ideal, this is not an easy decision, and we really want to offer this event and are choosing the structure that feels most widely supportive right now. We are sorry if this impacts you and limits your ability to participate. We look forward to more unifying event structures in the future.
Our Sliding Scale
The fees to attend Earthdance Events are priced on a sliding scale. Please pay at the highest level of the sliding scale that you can afford. This allows others who need to pay less the opportunity to attend.
Sustainer Rate: for those comfortably paying their rent or mortgage. The Professional Rate also helps us offer lower prices to those who could otherwise not afford to attend.
Full Rate: for those who have a regular income and are paying their mortgage or rent. Prices at this level contribute to the range of Earthdance's operating costs.
Subsidized Rate: for those with an income low enough that making ends meet is a challenge.
Scholarships are available for people needing financial aid, and to BIPOC individuals. If you have any questions or concerns about cost, or if you cannot issue payment by credit card and need to pay by check or some other means, please email email@example.com.

Participant Community Support
As Earthdance runs as a community, all participants are asked to contribute to 2-3 work shifts (typically meal prep & cleans) throughout the jam/workshop and will participate in a final house clean on Sunday. These are great ways to connect more with your fellow participants and Earthdance staff, and to feel more at home in the Earthdance buildings & grounds. Your contributions to the collective caring of this space are invaluable!
State guidelines have constantly shifted. We are choosing to hold this event while understanding there are inherent risks with any public event. We understand that everyone needs to make different personal choices for a variety of reasons about what type of event feels safe. The weekend will be open only to fully vaccinated adults as well as unvaccinated children under the age of 12. Below are the covid related requirements for this event:
- Provide proof of vaccination for anyone over the age of 12.
- Provide proof a Covid negative PCR test result from a test taken anytime between October 18th and October 21st.
- We ask that you NOT attend if you have any symptoms of illness. A full refund will be provided if you become sick and cannot attend.
- We may conduct additional Covid rapid tests on site.
- Within the container of the weekend, the dance spaces and entire facility will be mask optional spaces, with masks not required, but optional for anyone who wants to wear one.
- Please bring a mask in case the group decides to make different agreements about mask use over the course of the weekend.
- If you become sick while on site, you will be required to leave, and will receive a prorated refund. In case of early departure due to illness, all participants must be able to organize their own means of departure.
This structure is subject to change in advance and during the event, depending on how conditions unfold.
