E | MERGE Interdisciplinary Arts Exchange

E | MERGE encourages cross-disciplinary collaboration by forging new creative relationships. Skill sharing, collaboration, shared resources, and experimentation between forms will bridge known and unknown territories.

February 5 (Friday Evening) - February 7 (Sunday Evening) - Workshop Intensive Weekend. A weekend of public workshops kicks off the exchange with classes offered by select local and national E|MERGE artists. With Shyam, drummer/musician (NYC); Terre Parker, dance/video (San Francisco); Heather Kuhn & Emmy Bean, embodied voice/concept music (Western MA); Paige Sorvillo, contemporary butoh (Berlin/San Francisco); plus many more. The residency will culminate in a performance marathon weekend!  Performances, installations, panel discussions/dialogues and various potential works-in-progress will occur on-site at Earthdance, and at several potential off-site locations in the Northampton, Amherst and Holyoke areas.

Registration and Fees

Entire Festival (3 Tiers Available):
   Student Rate: Economically challenged students and the unemployed: $150
   Regular Rate: Employed but struggling (teacher, librarian, lots of kids, etc.): $175
   Professional Rate: Actually contributing to your retirement plan (support the arts!): $200
Saturday Full Day (Includes Classes, Meals and Evening Activities): $70
Single Class: $25
