Christine Cole

Christine Cole is a registered Somatic Movement Therapist, Teacher of Body-Mind Centering®, and Practitioner of Integrative Acupressure, with a practice in Body-Mind Centering® that extends over 30 years. She's held faculty positions at the School for Body-Mind Centering® in Amherst, MA, and Amsterdam, Holland, and runs her own training in Boston, Vermont, Montreal, and Northampton, MA.

Felice Wolfzahn

Felice Wolfzahn is a veteran teacher of Contact Improvisation, teaching in colleges and dance centers for over 25 years. She holds a BFA from the Juilliard School and a Masters degree from Bennington College where she has been teaching Contact Improvisation since 1996. Felice has performed and collaborated with other artists including Daniel Lepkoff, Patrick Crowley, and Catherine Sands. Her teachers have included Nancy Stark Smith and Steve Paxton. Felice’s work combines investigations into Authentic Movement and contemporary dance technique as well.

Jeff Bliss

Jeff Bliss has been exploring and learning about Contact Improvisation for over 27 years. Jeff began performing contemporary dance with Betty Jones in Hawaii and then joined Liz Lerman/Dance Exchange for 8 years. Besides teaching in Movement Research and many Universities in the US, he has traveled to teach CI and improvisation in Europe, Japan, Hong Kong, and Argentina. As a member of Group 6 (with Chris Aiken, Nancy Stark Smith, Ray Chung, Julie Carr, and Peter Bingham) he explored performance issues in Contact Improvisation.

Lani Nahele

Lani Nahele is a dancer, an educator, a bodyworker, and a mother. She is teaching dance at Springfield College, at the School for Contemporary Dance and Thought, and in her studio, Studio rEvolution. A Certified Practitioner of Body-Mind Centering, Gyrotonic, Gyrokinesis, Pilates, Circulatory Massage, and Reiki, and a student of Infinity Healing, her private bodywork practice is called BodySoulMoving. She has been a teacher of Contact Improvisation for over 30 years.

Moti Zemelman

Moti Zemelman, MFA, is based in Greenfield, MA and began practicing Contact Improv 27 years ago. Over the past 20 years he has taught and performed across USA, Canada, Costa Rica, Mexico, Europe and Israel. In 2008-09 he taught as Dance Professor at the Instituto Naciónal de Bellas Artes in Mexico City. Moti has been both a teacher and a board member at Earthdance Retreat Center in Plainfield, MA. He was an original member of Wire Monkey Dance Co.

Frosted air, a ritual bonfire, twinkling winter stars, and plenty of warm bodies on the dance floor. Every year it’s a special event, co-created by the people who attend.
