Carol Swann

Carol Swann is a group process and conflict facilitator whose work brings unique skills into community building, contributing toward a more socially just and connected world. She weaves her extensive studies in Process Work, Social Somatic’s, and Hakomi (body/mind psychotherapy) into all of her work. She is Co-Founder and Director of Moving On Center School of Participatory Arts and Somatic Education which links somatics and the performing arts for social change, now located in Berlin, Germany (1994-2014).

On Friday April 19th, registration is from 5-6:30pm, with dinner from 6-7pm. Participants can also arrive on Saturday morning.  Workshop runs from 10-5p on Saturday and Sunday.

The registration fee covers two nights: Friday /Saturday or Saturday/Sunday.  It is $30 more to stay for three nights.  You may make these arrangements before or during your stay.

Ecological Sustainability Sunday: A whole niche analysis for Earthdance

A free seasonal event to explore, learn about and celebrate the four pillars of sustainable community development.

March 10, 2013 - 12:00pm - 3:00pm

Building and Grounds Manager Kalyan Uprichard will present the concept of a whole niche analysis as described in the book Edible Forest Gardens.  This will serve as a foundation for a group brainstorm and discussion of how Earthdance functions as an organism situated in an environmental context including resource flows, interactions and impacts and how these manifest in both positive and negative ways.

Carolyn (Shakti) Sadeh & Susan Schell have been practicing Authentic Movement for over a quarter of a century, first as students of Janet Adler, then as witness and mover for one another. In 1988 they began teaching together. Through the years the thread that weaves this work and their lives together has held fast and they continue to offer retreats and workshops whenever possible.
