New Year’s Jam

Facilitated by Ari Kriegsman & Helen Tocci

December 28, 2013 - 5:00pm - January 2, 2014 - 3:00pm

Frosted air, frozen ground, and blazing fires. As winter swirls around outside, we burrow deeply on the dance floor to find new connections through Contact Improvisation. Bodies radiate heat, fog the windows, and co-create a weekend of magic, intimacy, and celebration. Workshops, performances, and nonstop dancing ring in the New Year with utter joy at our biggest CI event of the year!

We are completely FULL for the jam (this is the largest yet folks!). To join the waiting list, please email Hilary at contact [at] earthdance [dot] net.

Ari Kriegsman

Ari Kriegsman is a dancer, physician, social advocate, and story teller. He spends most of his days doctoring to the homeless population of Santa Clara County, CA. He began dancing Contact Improv in New York City as a way to connect to feeling and embodiment amidst the intellectual world of his medical training. In discovering Earthdance he has deepened this relationship, and experiences contact as a pathway to ritual, personal, and collective transformation, and most of all to community. He has received numerous accolades in his medical life, but considers being asked to facilitate the New Year’s Jam his greatest honor to date.
