Step into Social Sustainability! Share and explore the social pillar of sustainable community development. What are the ways that a community can support the needs of both current and future generations? Learn what social sustainability looks like, taste the sustainable community of Earthdance, and tap into the ways that social sustainability exists for yourself. Activities for adults and children of all ages include:

Led by Matt LaSalle | "THE WORK"

An interactive communication lab on Byron Katie's process for identifying the beliefs that bring stress upon ourselves and suffering into the world

Led by Ayla Rector | "EARTHDANCE CHILDREN'S ADVENTURE"

A tour for children of the Earthdance garden, chicken coop, compost, dormitory, and cabins with activities along the way

 

2:00pm-2:45pm

Led by Ayla Rector, Sean Kearny, and Matt LaSalle | "SHARE & TELL" 

An open discussion on social sustainability in everyday life  

 

2:45pm-3:00pm 

Performed by the Earthdance Staff | "SUSTAINIBLE WE" 

A skit showcasing the ins and outs of collective creative living
