Once a month the Umbrella Studio fills with a celebration of movement and music! A live soundscape is provided by a local musican. Bring your own instruments to join in after 10pm.

This month we have Moti Zemelman who plays vocal-electronic music for dancers, performers, and lovers of sound. In 2007 he released his debut CD, Doorwaves. His music is inspired by the love and practice of dancing, teaching and playing music for Contact Improvisation. Moti's vocal acrobatics range from Gyoto monk throat singing to perfect trumpet imitations to alien utterances. Using electronic loopers and effects to create vocal layers he is a one-man bazaar.
